Members of Crich Baptist Church from 1839 Onwards

We provide this information in the hope that it will be of interest. I suspect those who are researching their Family History will find it of some benefit. I have tried to remain faithful to the original lists, but I have to say that there are huge gaps in the records where the full record has not been completed. Not everyone has the date of their baptism recorded, and other detail is also missing. The spelling of surnames is a little inconsistent, and we are not told where most of those who are listed as ‘Removed’ eventually moved to after they left the church at Crich.

The lower the Record number indicates an earlier date of membership, and out of consideration for possible living relatives who may be embarrased by the disclosure, although their names are in the list, I have not mentioned when any member was ‘excluded’.

Listing these members will be a gradual excercise which will be done as quickly as I am able.
